FAMOUS is a proposed Television Drama Series set in an elite performing arts academy in Sydney Australia.   Casting will begin online WORLDWIDE in 2010.   Anyone, Anywhere, can audition. It’s the 2010 auditions and this is where our story starts….

Sypnopsis

William Miller, founder of the world’s most prestigious Elite Performing and Fine Arts Academy and his team are searching for 17 – 35 year old men and women from diverse backgrounds and cultures to compete for a place in the Academy.

Johnny Joseph, an American who wants to change the world through music, culture and dance and Maria Blackwell, an Australian / New Zealander who just wants to be inspired, will drive the series.

Unfortunately Maria’s boyfriend Tom isn’t too happy about that. Also Tom also has another objective – to find the killers of his parents – so things get pretty messy !

FAMOUS is a story about Family, love, hard work, friendship, revenge, choices, consequences, growing up, the power of music and the tentative discovery of what’s most important in life. And of course, the very real possibility that the most ordinary person can change the world through music.

Despite their differences, all these young people have one thing in common – the insatiable hunger to be the best in the world.

Famous is a gritty and realistic portrayal of ambition and the desperate strive for fame. From auditions to graduation the students must act, dance, sing, play and paint their way through the academy. The casting, the film and the TV series all follow the journey of a select group of students and their families, friends, lovers and teachers through crazy times, cataclysmic romances, successes, failures and routine humiliations

It is about the hard work, the practice, the pain, the failures and the dark side of life. However there is lots of fun along the way as well, love, sex and self-discovery (and a few surprises there). There will also be plenty of laughter. It will be quite a mix, but as each story unfolds, one universal message becomes clear -where there is music there is hope!

This series will touch anybody who has the courage to dream and will inspire many to follow that dream!

There are 9 main cast The votes are assessed for each cast member for their online audition. They should have created a good character as well as being an outstanding performer in their chosen performance piece. They move forward towards the first choice of main cast or backwards if someone gets more votes for that particular cast role

There will be a final public and producers playoff for final casting televised worldwide
