Outline:
Mark Piper presents a unique intensive 8 week workshop, which is a rare opportunity to learn from award winning Producer and Director, Mark Piper, and industry guests
Key Learning Outcomes:
- Increase your passion for the industry
- Gain from writers, directors, casting, actors and technicians perspective
- Receive realistic feedback and encouragement from a director’s perspective
- An understanding of the facets of the process of making a film or television production.
- All classes have a musical / performance part. Each class opens with a performance.
Guest Presenters:
Seasoned industry professionals will present on aspects of casting, acting, voice, auditioning, camera, screenwriting and editing. Previous guest presenters have included Charlie De Salis Writer, Director, Mandy Nolan Comedy, Anthony Young Ivana Chubbuck method of Acting; Karel Segers Writer; Dean Frances Actor / Filmmaker; Martin Sacks Director / Actor; Sam Atwell Actor / Director Home & Away; Andrea Moor Practical Aesthetics; Paul Goddard Actor/Director; Michael Futcher; Actor/Director; Paul Barry Actor / Director and Chris Haywood Actor/ Filmmaker.
What you can expect to achieve:
Develop the skills you need to be part of the creative team of a film or television production. As one of no more than 12 participants, you will play different characters in scenes, which we will film as you would on any film or television drama, and you will also have the opportunity to operate camera, boom and rotate through the various roles of a film and television set crew. Based on the feedback from participants from previous Mark Piper workshops you can expect to develop and boost your confidence as an actor or filmmaker, clarify your vision and become more determined and motivated to succeed in a highly competitive industry.
Complimentary footage: All students will have access to their scenes and can copy to hard drive or memory stick through out the course. Scenes are filmed using Canon 7D state of the art camera.

- Bookings $395 for Monday 2 hour class, or $495 for Wednesday 3 hour class – inclusive
